Question

Any of you TEXANS going to College Station 11-12 for
the Softball Meeting? I will not be able because of
tournament commitment locally. Pass all the good
info on to the rest of us that will not able to be
present. Also, have any of you been able to get on
the taso.org. website lately? I keep getting info
saying to hit Refresh. Still nothing happens. I was
wondering if it just me, or are they working on it?

thanks,
glen

Glen:

Just gave the taso.org a try...no response from their server. I was on it one day last week, but they still haven't gotten it finished yet.

I would also like to here anything of importance that may be discussed at the annual meeting next weekend. So anyone who attends, be sure to let us "slackers" know all the important details. Also..any further word from the Metro Rules Clinics this weekend?

Glen,

At the UIL/FED rules clinic in Arlington today, Walt Sparks talked a little about what the state meeting will be like. They are planning to spend alot of time on mechanics, proper positioning, appearance, etc. Walt always runs a good seminar/clinic so those in attendance should find it worth their time.

We did get to see/purchase the flags that will be used on the ASA hats. Also, TASO will require us to wear their logo shirts and jackets next year.

Glen,

I just tried the TASO web site again. It is partially functional. The 2002 Annual Meeting tab and the Rules/Clinics tab display additional info. These are the only connections that are working for now.
