LL has all sorts of age groups, I think the oldest group is 15-18. That's the age group this team of HS sophomores won last year, I think.
Actually, the Big League WS is played in Kalamazoo, MI and the host team from Dist. 2 in Michigan won it last year - beat Conn. if I'm not mistaken. Texas won the year before beating WV in the finals.

Larry,
I think they were somewhere in Washington state for the past couple of years - finishing 3rd one year & winning it last year. I don't know what the age group is called.

edited to fix some typo's

That's possible . . . every age group is in a different location:

Big Lg. - Kalamazoo, MI
Sr. Lg. - Delaware
Jr. Lg. - Redmond, WA
LL Lg. - Portland, OR

So if that group was in Washington, it was the 13-14 year olds.

Yep, for the past several years have been played in Kirkland, WA. Fabulous fields...and absolutely no one can use them except LL, even though they are "public" fields owned, operated and maintained by the City of Kirkland.

Now they are moving a few miles, maybe 10 miles, down the road to Hartman Park in Redmond. Very nice complex. And, if you keep buying all this software from Microsoft, those fields will get even better.
