Honestly, if someone other than the pitcher or catcher ask me where it was, I don't give them the full answer of "high," "inside," or what have you. If another player on the field asks, I *might* say, "it was a ball." I'm not trying to be a smart-alec, but if I answer everyone's questions when they doubt my judgment call, things can get out of control. Especially when it comes to pitches.
Was this shortstop the captain of the team?

Dave I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views! Screw green, it ain't easy being blue! I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again. |
