One thing I do that has actually helped is when i hang my shirts up, I button the top button and flip the collar UP. I've always done that to my golf/polo shirts and last year started it with my umpire shirts. The only shirt I have a problem with is one that I had a problem with BEFORE I started this practice.
I never wear a collared shirt under my jacket. In WV, we are supposed to wear a mock turtle neck under the jacket.

So far I am winning the collar war...just wondering if I should starch and iron again after washing them tonight. But...no collar flips so far. And I ironed the ends of the collars with lots of pressure...as much as this fat boy could muster and the ironing board could withstand...and the ends have stayed down.
Next I am going to starch my ballbags...not necessarily to starch them, but this stuff is stain resistant. While my ball bag is not a rag to clean balls, I end up with a muddy spot that finds a place onto the outside of the bag.
