You know, I had never heard of that product until reading that thread over at eteamz. I was thinking, from the thread title, that maybe it was a thread advocating the use of primate currency.
Wouldn't that be a banana?

OK, I'm now going to admit my ignorance. I'm sure you've all thought this anyway so now I'll admit it. But what the heck is gorilla gold? I have the same mark on my jacket from a couple of years ago that I got in a LL game so I doubt it's anything illegal . . .

We are just joking based on a post made over at eteamz. Gorilla Gold is some kind of hand drying agent that is supposed to not transfer to the ball. Now, folks, enough on ape currency and let's get back to the issue of my jacket.

Just throw it in the washer. If it doesn't come out, you work enough games you can afford another jacket.

Talk about airing your dirty laundry!! Seriously though...

First of all, read the fabric care tag that's probably in the side-seam of the jacket. I assume it's machine washable. Is it a nylon kind of fabric? I would try a pre-treater like "Shout" or else rub some liquid detergent into the stain. This might help break up the stain, since I assume that the yellow on a softball is actually some kind of paint. Either way, pretest in an inconspicuous place to make sure the pretreater won't fade your fabric. Rub the stuff down into the stain, don't just squirt it on top of the fabric.

Good luck,
MOM

How can you argue with mom? I bet she's done that before.

If her tips don't work, WD40 sprayed on the mark then Spray and Wash, then a run through the washer will get it out.
