Talking For gsf23

Since you apparently like Denny Green quotes, here are a few more:

"To get a good start to the season, we have to win on the road and at home."

"No one can beat us when we play like we play when we play."

“The secret to success is to start from scratch and keep on scratching.”

“I think we're relying too much on scheme, ... Sometimes as coaches - defensively, let's say, as an example - I think our guys are relying too much on scheme. They think the scheme is going to stop it. It's man against man. Hopefully, two games are enough for us to figure it out.”

“Obviously he's going to play. He might start. We'll see. I haven't really thought much about it.”

If you are talking "Yogi-isms", wouldn't that be, "but they ain't NOwhere near", or is that more along the lines of Stengal-speak?

I use this one because it is the only thing he ever said at Minnesota that made any sense.

I also think it is a great philosophy for this board sometimes.
