For those of you who umpire ASA, do not discard the Umpire Manual this year.

Looks like the staff has made a serious attempt updating some of this information, including the STRIKE signal. I have no doubt someone will find something still not quite right. So what? It appears they are at least trying to get it right.

I know what will get some of you is the emphasis on the direction given the umpire on a possible pulled foot and swipe tag.

Hey Mike,

Sorry I missed you and the "gang" this past weekend. Did figure out I was a "tad-bit" far from the tournament site if I had stayed at the hotel you guys stayed. So, I moved hotels. E-mail me with any "important" stuff I missed. Talk to you later,

Serg

Your SP counterpart wasn't there, but her husband was.

Clinic is being moved up to a weekend in late January next year. Same hotel.
