If you're wishing to study, I have previous year's exams on a personal web page:

Cool

I'll tell you one thing. The Part 1 Federation test
this year was HORRIBLE-- from the standpoint of
a retired educator (32 years) and an umpire (48).
Way too heavy on definitions---very little actual
play situations and almost no mechanics !!
I wish "the powers that be" would stop using reading
tests and start testing for actual umpiring knowledge.

btw-- the FHSAA used it for an open book test this year.
I'm also hoping they will devise their own test as they do for
the closed book version.

Just for the record, the organization is called the National Federation of High Schools, or NFHS.

With the exception of questions regarding the new rules, this year's exam was almost a crabon copy of last year. A TOTAL waste of time! IMHO

That's normal, but the answers to the same questions sometimes change from year to year.

What about the question on shirtsleeves? Is "different lengths" the same as "varied lengths?"
