I worked a college intrasquad scrimmage early this season to get my legs and eyes tuned up. I realized about the fourth inning that I had forgotten to insert that most important piece of protective equipment. My strike zone went to hell for a couple of batters.

I am female and yep I wear one too. Just not the same kind you guys do. Umpires that don'd have to hide and then they can't see the corners and their strike zone turns to crap.
