When I was attending UT in the late 70's (my Dad and Brother are also Alums) the population of Austin was about 340,000. By the time I left, it was at 471,000. Now over 1 million (counting surrounding communities).
I still visit several times per year and am glad that I no longer live there either Tom.........but for different reasons. However........there is still no better thing than to be on campus on one of the first warm days in Spring............. Joel
