Umpire error ?

Pre=season tournament for us in Christchurch New zealand .
This was discussed in Umpires rooms ( Yes we have changing rooms and a lounge for relaxation and a kitchen to make food )
An infield Fly situation , not called ( but after game determined as an IFF , BU calls ruuner out on the base touch not tag at 3rd and she walks off into the dugout . BR stays on 1st .Coach complains but out stands (Not a knowledgable coach )
My view enforce the IFF BR out and bring runner back to 3rd as umpire calling her out made her abandon base .
If it wasnt an IFF runners now on 12 .
Now these were two inexperienced new UMPs so no sarcasm please LOL
