Checked bats before a game and after the game he asked if slow pitch bats are allowed in Girls fast pitch. I told him that they are OK to use.Was I right or wrong.

FP/SP is a manufacturer's designation and has no bearing on which game in which they may be used.

There is a list of non-approved bats on the ASA web site. Several models of Worth "slow pitch only" models are on the non-approved list. It would behoove you to download this list (there is a PDF) from the ASA website (www.softball.org).

Also, a list that will easily fit in your lineup card holder is almost always available from Emily Alexander's website, http://www.cactusumpires.com
