Here is another one of the pics from the European Championship.
http://www.euro2005.softball.cz/modu...&orderby=dateA Doesn't seem to be too much doubt about what this one is going to be. I'm also wondering where the BU is? |

Don't know what they work in the European Championship (2 or 3 man) but the BU could be out in positions B or C depending on the situation and the number of blues they have. Just a thought.

Extend the pic several feet to the left and you probably would see the BU.

At all ESF-tournaments they work in a 3-men crew! Because both A and B-group are playing (in total 20 countries) there's a very large group umpires (from all over Europe)working in Prague (CZ). Winner in B-group moves up in A-group next year, winner in A will be Europe's champion. Last in A plays B next year.
Numbers 1, 2 and 3 in A-group will be playing at WC 2006 in China. My guess about no BU-1 in the pic. must indicade there was at least 1 runner on the bases... The mistake BR makes must be made out not knowing the rules. Softball is in Sweden a very very little sport. I'm not surprised if they'll be playing next year in group B... BTW, I'm very surprised to see you're also following european softball. Is it because at least 4 teams have USA-girls playing?
