U10 SP Tournament. Several teams have ill players as a result of a stomach virus (local news - Boy Scout camp of 300 closed for the same virus). One girl can not go to bat because of nausea - opposing coach insists on an out for "batting out of order". Girl goes home before the game ends. Opposing coach indicates that he wants an out for each time the girl would come to bat during the remaining 4 or 5 innings. Umpire indicates that "that is the rule". The only reference to illness I can find in ASA rulebook is 5-4-J which deals with forfeiting for having too few players. Anyone aware of specific rules about players having to leave due to illness?
