I had the remainder of a suspended game today - based on some fan comments, my timing must have been just about right. It was kinda hard not to chuckle a bit when I heard them behind the backstop wondering "Just how long is it going to take for him to decide if it's a ball or a strike?"

Got another piece of good news today - a month ago our local men's league was dead & buried. As someone once said
- the reports of my demise are pre-mature. The league is back. We're down to 2 B teams & 3 C teams, but hey, it's men's fast pitch.

Steve,

These fans just don't realize how hard it is to see whether the coin was heads or tails through that mask
