i have a question about what kind of gloves can be worn and where is it covereed in the rules.....i have a team mate who wore his baseball 1st basemens glove in the outfeild...was told by the ump...to take it off

Speaking ASA

Umpire was right. A mitt is only allowed to be worn by the player defending the area of the infield normally covered by F3 and at the catcher's position.
