ASA Rule Book Clean-Up

Kevin Ryan attended our Regional Umpire Clinic a few months back and stated that one of his goals is to clean up the rule book. Getting rid of the contradictions and to add clarity. Some sentences in the book would be impossible to diagram.

He said he would welcome suggestions from the field. For umpires, the process is to send any items through your Regional UIC, and copy your association UIC.

Not saying that his goal is a "Simplified and Illustrated", but that would be a great thing as a next step.

It might be interesting to have some threads started picking out different passages and use the message board as a collaboration tool.
