Coed. Runner on 1st. Batter hits ground ball to short, short runs to 2nd and tags base with her toe. Runner from first plows her over, while she is about to throw to 1st. Runner at 2nd is out by a mile. So what is the penalty? Runner at two is already out, and there are no runners in advance to put out.

Dead ball.
I eject the runner who took out the SS for USC. ASA 8-7-Q. I then declare the runner closest to home plate at the time of interference "out." That happens to be the batter-runner. ASA 8-7-P.

Thats what I was wondering.... I thought if I put out another runner, he had to be ahead of the runner that commited the interference. "The most advance runner?"
Thanks for you help.
