Covered a 5yr old T-Ball instructional game last week as our local association games kicked in. Had a blast.

Bases loaded. Batter hits the ball to the outfield. I pick up the tee from home plate so no one will stumble, trip, etc. Step out into the infield carrying the tee in my left hand. Following the action, moving around the infield as the runners move, mostly forward to the next base.(Sometimes we have to "re-direct" them)

I hear the parents in the stands laughing. I hear something behind me, close by. Turning, I find the little girl who was on third chasing me from behind trying to tag the tee! Realizing the confusion I had created, I set the tee down and she promptly stepped on it, looked up at me with this great big smile and said "Thank you!"

Nobody got it on video!! No one even had a video camera!! Never one around when you really want it to be.
