Had a good game tonight. Two good 4A schools, both in contention for division
lead. Score is 1-1 going into top of 7th. Visitors first batter reaches on an excellent bunt. Next batter bunts, catcher's throw is high and wide of 2B, SS covering - jumps into path of advancing runner, knocking her to the ground and landing on her. Alert CF'er grabs ball, tags the runner out, or at least she thought she did. OBS called, awarded runner 2B. Of course the defensive coach comes out for a yack. "How can you call that obstruction, she was attempting to get the ball?" Coach, "No ball, SS impeded progress of R, we have OBS." Now two on, next batter hits first pitch 245', 4-1 now. Home team first batter reaches on error, next batter has 1-0 count, when partner calls "strikkke". We hear a loud M-F'er. Game stopped. Coach tells us he will handle this. Goes to young man standing at the fence and grabs his shirt collar and calls security. He escorted from park. Game finally restarts, visitors win 4-1. After the game we find out he has a 12 pack and bottle of vokda in his truck. They still had him when we left.

Sorry about yelling that out in middle of the game, I cut my thumb trying to open them child proof beer caps.
Again, apologies for the trouble during the game. Great calls btw.
