Here is a rough draft of what seems to be, should it be accepted by council, the new school:
$300 fee. Umpire pays for own transportation and lodging. Four days fo intensive sessions involving mechanics with 6 national staff members for 60 umpires. Hopefully, they are trying to arrange a qualifying tournament for the umpires to work as part of their evaluation. If they pull this off and this is a regular tournament for the teams, the umpires will most likely get paid for any games worked. The qualified umpire must be a registered ASA umpire in good standing and have successfully completed an ASA National School.
