Question

We all know what to do if the defense appeals batting out of oder, But what if......

B3 bats instead of B1 and gets a BB. Offensive coach, honest as the day is long, brings it to the attention of the UIC that B3 batted out of order. What's an UIC to do?

Thanks
Kent

The proper thing for the UIC to do in this case is to ignore the BOO unless the defense brings it to his attention. He can simply say, "Ok Coach, now let's play ball." The offense can only correct a BOO while the illegal batter is still at bat.
