The web tests are back online for softball. Just go to the member's portal at http://www.taso.org, log in and take them.

Yes. If you go to the member's portal, sign in with your TASO number and password, there will be some links on the right of your desktop. The last one will be the first of several softball rules quizzes online.

You will need TASO number and password.

Remember this is also the Texas Association of Sports Officials.

I contacted Ton Scazzaro to find out this required information.

Normally the Pres., V-Pres., and scheduler are sent this information.
I requested it because I am Rules interp for our chapter.

Addendum(for J. Stark)

Go here to view: https://www.intra-focus.com/TASO/LOG...884BBBE059994C

That will bring you to the point of adding password and ID.

Look again under "My TASO Links." There should be a link there for "Softball" and another for "04-05 Softball Web Test 1." Once you take the test, it will appear, scored, under "TASO Tests."

I figured it out on my end at least, I'm not listed as an active member right now cause the TEMP that is in the office hasn't gotten me updated yet since I had to pay reinstate dues... now that's another little part of the story is the state office right now... but oh well

Thumbs up

3afan,
The test on the TASO members portal is a practice test that will help you prepare for the required test.
Once you complete one, you will receive the score and
you can look at the test and see the problems you might have missed.
Last year I completed four different practice tests in this same format.
This is another good tool that requires you to go to your
rule book and do some research.

And to add to what Carroll said, last year there were seven of these practice tests. They are a very good tool to get folks into their rules and case books!
