ASA fastpitch. Can the pitcher slap her glove against her leg during the pitch (as they go into the windmill)? I seem to remember an umpires clinic where this was supposed to be called unsportmanlike conduct if the opposing team complained. If this is correct, what rule do I cite the pitching coach (parent)? Is it called only if the opposing team complains? Thanks in advance. I'm new here so if this has been discussed in an earlier thread ... sorry.
