Dunno 'bout any link. The Fed site used to show the differences, but I didn't see that the last time I was there. I do have a booklet showing the differences amongst ASA Fed & NCAA. You can purchase a copy from john Bennett for about $7 - I consider it money well-spent - and I put together a copy for the PIAA (Fed & ASA)a few years ago, so I know a bit about how much work went into it. John's email address is:

Thumbs up

Steve is right...John's book is worth the $7. Get one
every year.

How does a book that explains ASA Fed & NCAA differences help you in NFHS? Are one of those rules identical or ARE the rules for NFHS? I've never looked at a NFHS rule book yet so I just dont know. Thanks!

I understand that its the HS gov body.. I didnt realize that when people said Fed on this forum they were talking about the NFHS or HS Ball.. I just figured it was another group for ball like dixie, asa, etc.

Thanks for the clarification. Since thats the case, i will get the book also.

Wade -
A suggestion, when you start to mix & match different sanctioning bodies - make one of the sanctioning bodies your main one and really learn their rules well. Even to the point of starting to memorize the book. After that study the rules differences booklet - this way you will be current on all of the sanctioning bodies and you will have studied a lot less than if you had to study everybody's rule book.
