LOL I can sure relate to that article.

Our softball park is very small MAYBE 225 feet to the fences. Yet the guys are spending 400 to 500$ on the good bats. The part that just gets me laughing is that since the park is so small we have a rule that if the ball goes over the fence fair in flight then the batter is OUT! O-U-T out and still they buy these power bats. I hit the odd one with my old 34oz spalding which is a straight thick walled aluminum tube and these young guys are buying power bats.

So this year I am having a new trophy - for the homerun king. Not sure what to call it but I'll think of something. Trying to funny not rude to them but what a waste.
