I just went to the U.S. Postal Service and weighed my mask.

Bought last century, in the early 90's I imagine, my Rawlings LWMX double-bar (made in Taiwan) weighed in at 1 lb. 9.0 oz (1.56 lbs.) without the tongue depressor.

It would seem that in 20 years, with all the new space-age stuff available that 1.45 may be a little heavier than necessary.

the .11 less that mine weighs, makes a lot of differences.
