Talking

F3 playing in - near the start of the running lane.
F4 comes over to cover first on a bunt.
F9 playing in to cover the slap.

Since all three are for all practical purposes covering the area normally covered by F3, I say all three may legally wear a mitt. The dugout has an official "glove runner" who runs the proper gloves in and out of the game between pitches.

No, I don't have cows (except on my parents very profitably dairy farm). F4 covers on the hit because that is the rotation, and she's not to the left of F3. NO problem there (except for the intended sarcasm, which I find rather funny).

In all seriousness, just answer the question. F9 WAS left of F3 at the start of the pitch...she was just behind BU, right next to line (but in fair territory of course, since that would be the next question asked to avoid giving an answer). What is your call?

Again, just answer the question, if you please, sir!

Allow a little MIDWEST sarcasm, since everyone else can have some.

If you want to take it to the absurd, keep it on your diamond!

You're certainly permitted, but do try to keep a sense of humor.

And, thank you Mike (and FUBLUE), for the permission to be absurd. As you no doubt know from my various postings, I enjoy a bit of absurdity from time to time.
