Can someone tell me why all the top slowpitch bat manufaturers only offer bat in a 34" style???

I have been shopping for a high dollar bat preferably the Miken "freak" and after visting thier webste and sites of several others the shortest length bat the all seem to make is a 34....why????

Can a bat be customized to a certain length???? If so where??

Thanks

Because that is the standard length. If you contact the company, they may customize one for you, but it would be costly and probably not legal.

BTW, just an opinion, but I would hold off buying a Miken Freak this year if you intend to play ASA ball. Don't know what is going on with it, but there are a lot of rumors saying this bat will lose it's ASA endorsement sometime this summer.

Like I said, nothing concrete, just rumor.
