This was on the NFHS board. Comments?

With no outs b2 is the scheduled batter. b3 bats out of turn and grounds out. defensive coach appeals batting out of order. do you get two for one here and b4 is the correct batter????

b2 is out for "failing to bat" in turn.
One out.
b3 bats again.

This is one of the areas where Fed differs from ASA. In Fed, you get one out - for the BOO penalty but the defense does not get credit for the out that they earned. I prefer ASA's position on this one - penalty out for BOO and the out that was earned by the defense.
