why we put our right hand to our left upper shoulder. My part did it last night at the game. I forgot to ask him what that mean. I know I read that in the book, or someone told me. Please let me know.

Some people, who think that they are umpiring baseball when they are on the softball diamond, use the old hand to the top of the head bit. But, as Dukat has pointed out, the proper mechanic for the infield fly in softball is the one already mentioned.
