I was informed today that both are 3-4 weeks out. Just
thought some of you might be interested.

Thanks. I'll be talking to Bob Savoie next weekend at a Regional Clinic in DC. If I'm lucky, he'll already have some copies of the case book.

Will they actually have the case book for sale on the website? I tried to order the 2003 pages last year (already have the whole book from 2002), but they sold out by time I could find them. If not, I would like it. Something for me to read during the days of summer (since I don't teach during the summer!).

Hey Mike,

I guess I'll be seeing you up in DC next weekend. Like you, I'll be hoping that Bob will have extra copies of the casebook. See you next weekend.

The case book is one of Bob's pet projects and, if they are available, he usually carries extras.

I've never met Bob, but I've used the case book a lot. Tell him for me, "Thanks - and well done!"

coreyboy,

ASA does not put the Case Book, Rule Book, or the Clinic Guide
on any website. You may call ASA at 1-800-654-8337 and order
the Case Book and Umpires Clinic Guide, but not the rule book.

However, they are still 3-4 weeks from being ready to release.

Both items are worth the wait and the cost.

Talked to Bob Savoie today. He said he returned the "proof" copy to OKC about 3 weeks ago.

He is confident it has made it to the printer by now, but not sure when it will become available.

Thanks, Mike. While I am not holding my breat for it, I am anxiously awaiting it.
