wrong batter
Have you seen this play published anywhere?
Another umpire said he thought he saw it somewhere and we are trying to find the source. A batter had a 3-2 count. The next pitch was a ball but the batter stayed at the plate. They hit a home run on the next pitch and the defensive coach then came out and said the batter should have walked on the previous pitch. Please don't bother with comments about the umpire.
