Game tied, R1 on 3RD, R2 on 2nd, 1 out, Batter bunts
ball slowly to F1, who fields and fires to F2, barely
nipping R1 at HP. All the while BR has turned to
watch the play at the plate and gets thrown out by F2
at 1B. This was in 18U and a qualifying tournament.
I believe the coach used every word possible in his
discription of his player and got chunked by BU for
his actions.

Is that in description "of" his player, or the description of the play "to" his player?

Some plays are so spectacular that you just have to stop and watch them, no matter who you are.

Had a similar one a couple of years ago in a Varsity BB game.

R3 only, two outs. Batter strokes a base hit to left field, and attempts to advance to 2nd. R3 trots home, stops about 2 feet short of home to pick up discarded bat and stands watching the play at 2nd. BR is called out for #3, and I signal and announce "Run does not score" Head coach comes trotting down from 3rd questioning how the run could not score. I explain, and R3 just stands there holding the bat looking very sick as the coach begins to approach him. I retrete a discrete distance to give them their privacy.

Mike, \

It was to his player, but too many F's and S's used.
It was so loud, that everyone present in the 5 field complex
could hear his words. Partner felt it warranted an exit, so he
gave him one.
