I was watching a tournament at U of Southern Mississippi this weekend wherein umpires were trying to get SEC certified.
I knew something was up the first game when the umpire crew changed halfway through the game.
Also noticed a lot more hustle to positions than I am accustomed to seeing.
Any of you involved??

We didn't go to that one, but have attended several of these Camps/Clinics. They can be a great way to get noticed if college ball is where you want to go.

As for hustling, in the conferences we work, a coach will not hesitate to "Ding" you if they feel you are not hustling enough. So I guess that has never been a issue around our area.

Actually, I was referring to the field umpires hustling to their positions as the situation changed.
A lot more hustle knowing they were being graded.
