****I don't do softball but thought you would be interested in this. Yesterday in an Oklahoma state playoff game there was a game that went to 34 innings and lasted seven hours. The radio said it was a national record.

I tried a Google search, but couldn't come up with any more information...anybody hear about this?

The game was between Putnum City and Sapulpa. The game went 34 innings and Sapulpa was victorious 1-0. The game was an inning shy of the record.

Huntington Beach Ocean View and Huntington Beach Marina played 35 innings in a 1983 game.

Sapulpa lost it's next game 10-0 in five innnings.

Emily Harp singled home the winning run for Sapulpa in the bottom of the 34th inning.
She also pitched all 34 innings for Sapulpa.
Ashley Bright pitched the entire game for Putnam City.
