Rain gear

Any of you guys wear rain gear'? How do you like it? Going to buy some for the spring. I'm getting gold ... the black has become really hard to find.

No I have not purchase rain gear. I use my Black PIAA pullover in the rain. I am going to look into the long sleeve rain gear in the spring. I will post back then. I also use EBAY when I want to try something new, you can usually get it cheaper.

Just a suggestion. I purchased a breathable, bikers rain jacket I wear it over my wicking under-gear and under my LS jersey. This allows me to keep dry and comfortable and use any color of my existing jerseys as needed.

When the game is over I peel off the wet jersey and shorts and I am still dry and comfortable.

Additional advantage is I can use this "system" for both USSF & NISOA games. When USSF changed their uniform design I did not have to also replace my "rain" gear.

I'm not sure what a breathable bikers rain jacket is. What are they like?

Above is a link to one companies version. For other options just do a web search for "breathable rain gear". Two years ago, when I got mine, I found one that did not have a hood, so nothing shows above the collar of my referee jersey.

Today I checked in my car trunk the one I have is O2 by REI. This link http://www.rainshield.com/p_multi.html , the one without the hood is what I use.
