Steve,
Someone told me that lacrosse "holding" is a combination of "Hooking" from hockey, "holding" from football and other sports, and "interferrence" from other sports. One point that was hard for me to adjust to was the fact that one need not grasp anything to be guilty of holding in lacrosse. ~~~ Dan 0;-D
