What's the rule on warding? Can a player be called for warding if he has possesion of the ball and both hands on his stick? Most places I looked refer to a "free" hand pushing the defender or his stick, but the NCAA rules state,
"Warding Off
SECTION 12. A player in possession of the ball may not use his free hand or arm or any other part of his body to hold, push or control the direction of the movement of the crosse or body of the player applying the check. A player in possession of the ball may protect his crosse with his hand, arm or other part of his body when his opponent makes a play to check his crosse."
Wouldn't this rule effectively prohibit an attacking player with possesion from making any contact with the defender?

If both hands are on the stick then you cannot have a ward.
