the AHL is going to try a few games with bluelines that are 3 feet wide. they think it will widen the neutral zone.

what do you think?

I think if they are trying to spruce the game up with more scoring, try removing the red line for passes. You say, thats not hockey! Well who said the NHL and AHL were in the hockey business. They want entertainment and people in the seats. True hockey is getting boring, because their are too many finesse players that don't want to hit anyone. Ala euroupian style. Either that or make the game like WWF E, G H or whatever they call theirselves now. That will draw. Only kidding. But I do think doing away with the red line would definetly be exciting.

i have already worked a couple of leagues that ignore the red line. in fact, most leagues like it if they are not required to play a sanctioned event.
