We are at the point where there should be an age restriction of 18 or older to access the forum part of this site.

Yes, because there's a very limited number of "email addresses" available.

I think at the very least we should appoint a few trusted members of the forum to delete any spam material. What is to lose by doing this?

Isn't that what we have now?
