Yes I do, I e-mailed Mick about it, he'll take care of it. Anyways, I've had mine for about 7 I believe. Got my class old school when you still had to do 13wpm for General. Needless to say, I was a little p*ssed when they made the changes.

I never bothered learning morse code. I really only use the VHF and UHF bands, as my parents aren't too keen on me putting a huge antenna over the house.

Yes, I understand about the antenna problem. I'm usually on 2m and 70cm, when I'm on. But, I love to work 40 meters during Field Day.

Same here, the only equipment I have is for the 2m and 70cm bands.

Yeah, those are the big bands around here too. Do you go to a local club and work Field Day? And have you ever been to Dayton?

I've did field day a few years ago, for the last 2 years I've unfortunatly been out of town for that weekend. I'm a member of the local club, but haven't made it out to a meeting in a while, they always seem to conflict. And no, I've never been out to Dayton

I've been going to Dayton for four years now. It's a good time, you've at least got to make it once. Great experience!! I haven't been to a club meeting a while either. However I am the WebMaster for our club: http://w9eoc.tripod.com

Cool, I guess I'm gonna have to look into this Dayton thing. Although I think it'll be a while before I make it out there.

J,

I went to get my license last year. What a coincidence.

I had another committment the day of the exam, and have yet to re-schedule.

Nice,

It's a fun hobby. I've never had a hobby teach me so much I could actually use.

Because of everything I learned in the course, I was able to coast through physics, and get a good mark
