Canadian Amateur Rules = one foot inbounds.

Under those rules, I have a TD.

And actually, under NF, NC and NFL rules, I think it is a TD as well.

In your quote, are you saying that the ground can decide possession or lack there of? Remember that old phrase, "the ground can't cause a fumble"? Either he did or didn't have control BEFORE striking the ground.

Hello all, the Play on the Web was updated with the real time version of the Touchdown or Not play. I also reset the poll, so that you can revote with the real time play and see if that changes your opinion of a TD or Not..

Just saw the full speed version. It is still a TD.

He has the ball firmly in his grip while both feet are touching the ground. The player then knocks the ball out of his hands.

The fact that player didn't do a "football move" should be immaterial. Who is the NFL rules committee to sya what a football move is, unless of course, they had discussion and agreement amongst the 32 teams. Maybe that player likes to hang onto the ball with outstretched arms, as a method of celebration after immediately having both feet touch the ground.

Maybe I don't agree with the NFL rule 100%, but that still doesn't change the fact that both of his feet are on the ground when the ball is in grasp of the player's two hands.
