The umpire (Garth DeFelice) in yesterday's Colts-Pats game was doing WORK!!!

Man, you guys would crucify a player that laid hands on an official like that!

Professionals are different. And the official is the authority of the game, players are not. Very different standards and expectations at play.

And still does not change the fact that as a professional, all the participants can do things that many of us cannot do. I do not need a smiley face to make that point.

In the top sequence, it appears Mr. De Felice needed to gain #29's attention before sharing some valuable advice, and for a moment #29 seemed to be interested in a different agenda.

With #20, Mr. De Filice seems to be smiling, suggesting a much different type of interaction.

This reminds me of when Jim Quirk would stop the clock with one arm only while using the other one to clothesline players off of piles!
