Exam Preperation Smartphone Apps

Hello all,

I am returning to officiating after a few year absence.

I am trying to develop a smartphone/tablet application for (NFHS rules) test preparation and rules study purposes very similar to the old Athletic Rules Study software program. "Develop" is probably not the best word...there are plenty of free or nominally priced apps out there that you can just upload a database of questions/answers into the program. Although there can be a significant amount of tweaking depending on the app and maintaining the database of questions can be a significant endeavor.

My personal requirement is that it be on the Android platform but the app should cross platform to Apple/iOS. Some of the programs that I am looking at are Anki Flashcards, Flashcards Deluxe Lite, and FlashCards To Go.

If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them.

I have been able to build a nice little database of 3500 questions (many duplicates) but have at least 45 questions that I think no longer apply and will need to run by the group very soon...I have put a lot of time and effort into this (mainly updating the rules references to the 2012 Rule Book)/making all of the questions from older tests look like more current tests/etc.

The database will have the following information:
* Front of Card:
Category (Tags)
Question
Answer Choices 1-5 (True/False or Multiple choice)
Hint/Rule Reference
Question Source: Publisher/Test/Year/Question No. (Note there may be multiple entries)
* Back of Card
Answer
Answer Additional Comments (Usually what makes a False Answers True)
Author's Note (This will be something you will not want to change)
Personal Note (This will be something you may want to change)

**** I am looking for more questions if anyone has old tests:
NFHS Part II in 2004, 2006, and 2010, Either Part for 1997 and earlier
Florida (FHSAA) 2004 and later and 1993 and earlier
Both the Test, Answers, and Rules Reference (preferably updated to the 2012 Rulebook)

I would love testers so feel free to send me your contact information but if I get a lot of people I may need to limit them so let me know what you last few test scores are and if you happen to be your association rules interpreter.
