Question

Just visited the NCAA website and found their 2002 rule book. Very well written with lots of case plays.

How come the NF does not have its rule book online?

Our season starts this Saturday with the semi-pro league. They use a mixture of NF and NCAA rules.

Is there a codification of standards for semipro or does each league handle their own rules?

1. They can't charge you for it if it's available online.

2. I was going to say I don't think they're sophisticated enough to figure out how to do that, but they do have PDFs of certain things posted on nfhs.org already (like official's signals, rules differences with the NCAA, etc.). So clearly it's just #1.

My semipro league uses NFL rules, another league I know of uses NAFL rules, another uses NCAA. Sounds like a league by league decision.
