Anyone see the UVA/Florida State Game
Game Winning FG attempt by Florida State 47 yards out and there is a flag on the defense for simulating a snap count.
I know a flag is a flag but in that spot it better be extremely blatent. |

So if there was a false start by the offense it better be extremely blatant also?

I think what the OP was saying was that you better be sure that the defense was the one calling out signals and it was meant to disrupt the offense (sorry if I put the wrong words it he mouth). It is a gusty call to make given the cirumstance, but one that has to be made if it was there.

I know for me the one time that I did call it, I had warned the player twice previously. Granted it was in a JV game, but I would think it was either really blatant or the player had been previously warned.
