Blocked field goal in Super Bowl

I have a question regarding the blocked field goal by the Rams in the 3rd quarter. It seemed to me after the blocked field goal that a Ram defensive lineman picked it up, took a couple of steps, stumbled, and then fumbled the ball. They didn't ever focus in on the recovery, but it looked like the Titans recovered. Am I correct in that if the Titans recovered after St. Louis had possession, that it would be 1st & 10 for the Titans. The announcers never said anything about it. Maybe I misinterpreted the situation and the Rams recovered or the lineman never had full possession. Please respond on my interpretation of the rule and the correctness of what occurred. Thanks.
