I was just looking for ideas what different associations do for retiring officials. A plauque of appretiation does not seem like enough to me.

Here in Long Beach, we have our officials that are out to pasture evaluate all officials in our association. They get a half a game fee (from dues) and see at least three officials per season. They evaluate from pre-game to end of game and on a scale from 1-5 as five being best. The results are given to the board of directors for play-off assignments. We had this system for ten years.
