Texas has used the NCAA rules for a long time. We have very little cross border play and Texas is a big enough state that we can use the "big boy" rules for our high schools. My question is why should we change simply because "everyone else does it?" Doesn't wash as a reason and I prefer calling with the NCAA rules.
